Thornton Hall raises the bar for Sunday roasts

Is this the best roast on the Wirral? Thornton Hall, the luxurious 4* hotel situated in the heart of the Wirral countryside, has launched a brand-new traditional Sunday Lunch menu. The new menu offers three courses for £29 per person and a complementary 175ml glass of wine if you are dining in the evening.

Thornton Hall’s new traditional Sunday Lunch menu is not one to be missed. Offering a range of classic Sunday favourites including roast Welsh rib of beef, half roasted chicken and loin of pork with all the trimmings, not to mention the best roast potatoes and gravy around, all for just £29 per person. If a traditional Sunday Lunch isn’t for you, there are a number of alternative dishes available, such as Teriyaki Tofu and Tandoori Chicken.

Upon arrival, guests have a number of welcome drinks to choose from and various nibbles including home-made rosemary focaccia created by Thornton Hall’s award-winning inhouse chef and his team. As well as a delicious array of starters and mains, there are a number of traditional desserts available including crème brûlée, sticky toffee pudding and a selection of British cheeses.

The Sunday Lunch menu will be served in the hotel’s main restaurant and if the weather permits, guests can dine on the terrace al fresco, the perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
