Marketing Cheshire is working with Marketing Lancashire, Marketing Manchester and the Yorkshire Dales National Park to deliver an exciting new campaign that will market the northwest region to travellers from the Nordic countries of Sweden, Denmark and Norway.
Supported through VisitEngland’s Discover England Fund, our project aims to bring together a range of culturally distinct experiences that offer travellers the chance not only to have fun but also to learn additional skills, undertake self-improvement activities or simply try out new, inspiring and unexpected experiences off the beaten tourist track.
We are looking to work with local individuals and businesses to support the development of unique, immersive visitor experiences that are easily bookable and which can be packaged together with a range of diverse accommodation options that will have strong appeal to our target markets.
The type of experiences we are looking to include but are not limited to:

• The Great Outdoors
• Sport & Dance
Our research has identified the Nordics as our target market and we will work closely with inbound travel trade to deliver a campaign to lifestyle travellers from this region. In particular, we are seeking to attract people aged 25 -35 travelling as couples or small groups of friends. There is also the potential to attract families with children.
We would like to hear from a variety of individuals and organisations who are interested in working collaboratively to develop a range of immersive and unique experiences that showcase our distinctive culture, heritage and landscapes to visitors from overseas.
