The White Horse, Pub on the Course, at Chester Racecourse unveiled the results of an extensive makeover on Saturday. Drawing inspiration from rustic and botanical themes, with a touch of style and vibrance, their new look interior offers guests an ambient and relaxed setting to enjoy lunch, drinks or dinner.
The culinary offering has been revamped too, with Head Chef Alex Newman carefully curating a delicious new menu to suit all tastes. Botanical illustrations tie in beautifully with the interiors, whilst a number of the dishes nod to the season of spring.
Dine on light bites, stone baked pizzas and sharing nibbles, alongside comforting, seasonal dishes using locally sourced produce such as crispy Cenarth brie fritters with red onion jam, luxury lamb hot pot and rhubarb & ginger crumble.
Their newly introduced ‘Sunday Sharers’ are an excellent addition for those visiting with families or in larger groups. Pre-order in advance, and enjoy generous helpings of dishes such as giant chicken pot pie or rack of pork with all the trimmings.
