The new racing celebrity hotspot

Chester Racecourse has always been a hive of celebrity activity and the World’s Oldest Racecourse is now home to a luxurious new trackside venue and racing hotspot, Parade with Aiden Byrne. Already proving to be this season’s hottest celebrity haunt, Premier League footballers, TV’s most well-known faces and some of fashions most influential have already set foot through the doors and we’re not even half way through the season.

It goes without saying that the Chester Races is a place to see and to be seen, and the 2019 season at Chester Racecourse has been no exception. Sir Cliff Richard OBE is the most recent face to be spotted, having attended the Matthew Clark Summer Festival on Saturday 29th June. Sir Cliff was seen to be having a fantastic day placing bets and enjoying the wonderful British sunshine.

Having opened at this year’s Boodles May Festival, first through the doors at Parade with Aiden Byrne were Sir Alex Ferguson CBE, Former cruiserweight world champion boxer Johnny Nelson, former Birmingham City Manager Garry Monk and Professional footballer Nicky Maynard. Presenter Gethin Jones and television personality Georgia Toffolo, who was recently named as Ambassador for Great British Racing, have also been spotted sampling the delights of Aiden’s menu.

Not only is Parade positioned in the ultimate location for any race-goer, alongside the finishing post, it also features a luxurious bar, restaurant, roof terrace and extensive living wall, providing the perfect photo backdrop for revellers. Aiden Byrne’s influence over the food is integral, having created a sumptuous, seasonal, six-course tasting menu featuring a variety of dishes from roasted scallop with white chocolate and truffle risotto to his lemon rice cracker with seasonal peas, which he personally oversees for every fixture.
