Comedian Joel Dommett Brings His Live Show To Chester

Storyhouse appearance is part of 43-date autumn tour.

It’s been a whirlwind year for comedian and actor Joel Dommett, who finished as runner-up with his highly memorable appearance on I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!

Now the 32-year-old is out of the jungle and is heading for Storyhouse – Chester’s new £37million theatre, cinema and library.

The acclaimed new Joel Dommett: Live tour from Off The Kerb Productions comes to Storyhouse on Tuesday 26 September.

The show is part of a third extension to Joel’s current tour, with 43 new shows being added to the UK tour due to exceptional demand.

Joel Dommett: Live promises an evening of engaging storytelling and stand-up, with the stage and TV star serving up unbelievable stories, confetti cannons and even a musical number.

Joel burst onto the comedy scene in 2007 and quickly established himself as one of the most exciting comedians on the circuit. He has become a regular on national television with appearances including reaching the final of last Autumn’s I’m a Celebrity (ITV) when he lost out to Gogglebox’s Scarlett Moffatt; he’s a regular panellist on Sky 1’s Bring the Noise alongside Nicole Scherzinger; and presents Live In Chelsea, the live E4 aftershow to the hit series Made In Chelsea.

He has previously been a team captain on ITV2’s Reality Bites, and appeared on Drunk History (Comedy Central) and Channel 4’s Comedy Gala (Channel 4). Joel also co-starred in the hugely successful Impractical Jokers (BBC Three), and has numerous acting credits to his name including Casualty; The Golden Hour; The Inspector Lynley Mysteries; a starring role in his first feature film White Island; and BBC Two’s Popatron. Joel has also performed stand up on Russell Howard's Good News (BBC Three).

Tickets start from £20. Storyhouse has a dynamic pricing policy on the majority of shows, ensuring that the earlier theatregoers book tickets, the better and cheaper seats they’ll get.
