This year's Cultural Destinations Programme ‘Cheshire: Where Science Meets Nature’ capitalises on 50 years since man first walked on the moon, of which Jodrell Bank played a significant part and also the 100th birthday of the Forestry Commission and Delamere Forest.
The 2019 programme will be promoted via three new thematic experiences: Forests, Festivals & Family Days; Moons, Music and Memory Making and Inventions, Ideas & Imaginative Outings. New webpages and an annual PR and targeted social media campaign will launch the programme the week commencing 6 May.
In addition to the marketing and promotion activity, the group are also working with Wild Rumpus to deliver an annual programme of ‘Culture Sessions’ where tourism and cultural partners will meet on a monthly basis to network, share skills and learn something new.
