Down The Dee for Deafness Charity

A scenic trip down the River Dee this summer will mark the mid-point in a year of success for Deafness Support Network.

The charity which supports thousands of people with a hearing loss in Cheshire, Flintshire and beyond will host an annual cruise on the Lady Diana boat this August.

Supporters, volunteers, staff and service users are all invited to join on the relaxing 2-hour ride along Chester’s famous river. There will also be a raffle, food and an onboard bar to enjoy.

Gill Reeder, Executive Operation at DSN said: “With the glorious weather we have been having, what better way to enjoy a late summers evening than on a cruise?! It’s a great way to stop and celebrate all of the great achievements the charity has had since the start of the year and for everyone to get together and relax too.”

Tickets for the cruise are £20 per adult and £10 for under 18s. The cruise will set off at 7pm and run until 9pm on Thursday, August 16.
