Graham Wood, Duty Manager, Anderton Boat Lift, said: “The Lift’s musical firework display is a great family event and something really different and special. The appeal of the event is partly the way the fireworks reflect magically in the river as they are set off from the pontoons. It is also about the way emotions are stirred by the interplay of synchronised music and fireworks in the spectacular setting of the Lift. It really is an unforgettable night out for family and friends and a ‘must see’ event.”

During the Autumn there are regular boat trips at the Lift. Visitors can take a journey along the River Weaver to Northwich whilst learning about the town’s industrial heritage or opt for a thrilling trip through the spectacular Boat Lift. Combined tickets allow visitors to do both of the boat trips above at reduced price.
